The choice of the feeding system for a saw is at least
as important for the saw capacity as the actual saw
or the destacking system. For the large number of different
panel materials Anthon can offer many different feeding
systems. Even very thin or wavy panels can be fed without
any problems when selecting the suitable feeding system
with the corresponding measuring device. Vacuum, nip-roll,
and push feeders or a combination of feeding systems
are available from Anthon.
Feeding with vacuum is the preferred
method for conveying delicate materials. It prevents
scratches, automates counting of different book heights
and is the ideal solution for wavy panels. Different
designs allow efficient receiving and delivering of
protection boards and stack changes without loss of
time.
Nip-roll feeders are
particularly suitable for fast, continuous feeding of
panels. In combination with a lifting device and a push-feeder,
thin panels can be fed one by one or as books. Intermediate
buffering devices for rest stacks allow almost uninterrupted
feeding when chancing stacks.
Push-feeders with
height measuring devices directly at the stack are offered
either as internal or external feeding options. Internal
push-feeders are mounted at the positioning feeder,
external push-feeders are mounted on separate push-off
frame.
